The Woodland Centre

Set within Penllergare Valley Woods in Swansea, the Woodland Centre is a quiet, light-filled space for groups to gather, focus, and create. Whether you want to host a meeting, a strategy day, a creative session, or community activities, hire includes exclusive use of both the indoor building and the private enclosed garden area, all just minutes from Junction 47 of the M4.
(Please note: Our spaces are dedicated to business, educational, charity, and community use. We do not host private social parties, birthday events, or weddings.)

- Capacity & Furniture: Room for up to 30 people seated (70 standing) with chairs and tables provided.
- Private Garden: Enclosed private outdoor garden space included with your venue hire.
- Comfort & Tech: Air conditioning, heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, and presentation screen.
- Amenities: Kitchen facilities and two toilets (including one fully accessible toilet).
- Access & Parking: Convenient nearby parking with step-free, level ground access throughout.

Need an Outdoor Space?
Looking for a rustic outdoor setting? Explore our Wildwood Activity Area—a private enclosed clearing with a central fire pit circle, perfect for forest school sessions, wellbeing workshops, or outdoor team activities.
The Woodland Centre and Wildwood can be booked independently, or reserved together for combined indoor and outdoor events.
How To Book
Bookings are available in Hourly Slots, Half-Day, Full-Day, or Evening packages.
Please use the links below to navigate to each booking area and add your desired dates and times into your basket. Payment can be made by card or invoice. Please input your organisation name and event details in the notes box provided.
Hourly Hire
Flexible booking for short meetings & sessions

9am – 12:30pm or 1pm – 4:30pm
Full Day
Standard daytime access (9am – 4:30pm)
Evening
5pm – 8pm Ideal for after-work sessions
