Last week the Trust welcomed the Deputy First Minister and colleagues from Keep Wales Tidy to celebrate becoming a Green Flag Heritage Site

The Deputy First Minister  &  Climate Change Secretary, Huw Irranca-Davies was delighted to visit the stunning Penllergare Valley Woods – one of an impressive 12 Green Flag sites in Wales awarded extra special Heritage Accreditation.

Penllergare Valley Woods has held Green Flag status seen 2016 and was proud to be awarded it again alongside being recognised this year as a Green Flag Heritage Site

Our Chair of Trustees, Paul Baker commented:

The Trust is delighted to have been awarded Green Flag Heritage status and retained our Green Flag for another year. This recognition is a real credit to the amazing work of our volunteers and team here at Penllergare. We are proud that our work to restore this historic site and tell its fascinating story has been celebrated.”
