Work continues this summer on upgrading and improving our paths here at Penllergare. These improvements are part of an exciting wider programme supported by the Woodland Investment Grant.

As a part of this programme our amazing dedicated volunteers have been working on our paths in Middle Park

The path (also known as the pipe track) had become very worn and needed attention.  So, this month our volunteers have been relaying it and improving the surface. Over the next few months we will be working on upgrading more of our paths and creating new ones around the Woods.

These works are funded by The Woodland Investment Grant (TWIG) scheme. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with the Welsh Government’s National Forest for Wales Programme.
