After Dark: Bat & Moth Walk

Discover the magic of the woods after dark! Join us for an atmospheric evening at Penllergare Valley Woods to explore the mysterious world of our local nighttime residents, moths and bats. 

This hands-on citizen science session is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to identify these nocturnal species and discover how quick and easy it is to record your wildlife sightings, meaning your data directly helps us protect nature for the future.

• Dates: Friday 4th September & Friday 11th September
• Cost: £3 per person (includes parking). 
• Suitable for ages 6+. Children must be accompanied by an adult, who must also purchase a ticket.
• Where to meet: At the map by the car park
• What to bring: Please bring a torch and wear sensible, sturdy footwear.
• Please note: This event is weather-dependent. We will be taking a short, circular walk with an incline along the route.
