The Penllergare Trust would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Coffee Shop will be open 10am-4pm over the Christmas break except when it will close early at 3pm on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. For any of you looking for last minute Christmas gifts for friends, family or even your dog, the Coffee Shop has a range of books, gift vouchers and Christmas treats for dogs on sale.
Below is a Christmas message from the Trust’s Chair to all the volunteers, Friends, trustees, staff and supporters:
2021 has, once again been a most challenging and difficult year but despite adversities, we have been extremely successful in our mission of bringing Penllergare Valley Woods back to life. All we have achieved is, of course entirely due to the dedication and sheer hard work of you, our dedicated members of staff, our wonderful Volunteers, our fantastic Friends, our Trustees, and our supporters. I would offer my grateful thanks to you for all your work and efforts that you have contributed during the year. I am so proud of all the work that you do.
As we reach Christmas and the coming New Year, we thought we were returning to a measure of normality, but recent events have shown that the Coronavirus is still with us and is still cruelly affecting all our lives. However, despite all the fresh challenges presented to us, let us remember the true meaning of Christmas and the hope that the New Year brings.
I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – but above all I wish that you all keep safe and well.
