The Trust has received funding to help improve our paths, open up new areas, plant trees and provide new activity spaces for our visitors at Penllergare
Over the last few months you may have noticed that we have been making some improvements to our paths in the woods.
This is a part of a wider programme to improve access to the Woods for our visitors called Access Penllergare.
This exciting project is funded by The Woodland Investment Grant (TWIG) scheme. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with the Welsh Government’s National Forest for Wales Programme.
In the year ahead you will see many more exciting new developments due to this funding, and as being a part of the National Forest For Wales. These projects will be delivered by our amazing volunteers, staff, partners and by working with contractors.
