Penllergare’s Heritage Orchard -Planting for the Future – Saving the Past
Penllergare’s Heritage Orchard is really starting to take shape. The volunteers have done an amazing job of clearing, setting up and planting the site. The new orchard is planted with Welsh and rare varieties of apples and other fruits, protecting them for the future and providing wonderful habitat for pollinators.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Postcode Local Trust, Penllergaer Community Council, Oakdale Trust and our other funders for their support of this exciting project.
