Junior Wildlife Walk

Wednesday 19 August | 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Join us for a fun-filled Junior Wildlife Walk and discover the fascinating world of bugs, beetles, and other woodland mini-beasts at Penllergare Valley Woods.

Perfect for young nature lovers, this gentle guided walk will introduce children to the incredible creatures living beneath logs, in long grass, and among the trees. Along the way, we’ll learn how to identify different species, record our wildlife sightings, and contribute to citizen science, helping to build a better understanding of the wildlife that calls Penllergare home.

The walk takes place at a leisurely pace and is suitable for families. Please meet by the big map at the Visitor Centre by the main car park before the walk begins. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please note: This event is weather dependent.

This project is funded by the Nature Networks Fund. It is being delivered by the Heritage Fund, on behalf of the Welsh Government.
